I realize this has been asked countless times. I spent awhile searching through past threads not seeing my roof rack. Similar but not the same.
I seen a few that look very close but they don't have the slats, Did someone just add slats themselves? I didn't see any clamps that look like mine either.

| Looks like a regular metal rack where someone just threw on some wood slats to me. |

| That's kind of what I thought. After I refinish the slats and the rack I'm gonna rivet instead of using those screws. As far as my knowledge there's no racks that use screws. Right? |

The varnish is the problem outdoors. I would just use a warmed 3 to 1 to 1/4 mixture of linseed oil/turpentine/stain once a year. I use 'Dark Oak' stain on oak to give it a golden oak/shiny look. They will look great! _________________ http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u236/mr_bojangles500/
