Thanks for all the positive props on the show! There's some thanks I'd like to put out there. Thanks to Bubba for all the time he spent behind the scenes! He doesn't have much to spare! Thanks to all the volunteers who make the day of stuff happen. John, Will, Jeff, Pierson, the Oil Puddlers crew, Brian from OCOD and anyone I may have left out. Thanks to the judging panel for helping decide the picks for the show. DJ Elliott AKA "Dj NO Dough" for playing the tunes and providing the sarcastic humor. Chadd Magee for donating the No Dough green narrowed beam for the raffle. Herrell's VW for providing the spring plates and axles. Jack flash and all other providers of raffle items. Dave thanks for helping out with the shirts! Thanks to all our sponsors for helping us put the show on in the first place. We will try to make No Dough 3 better than ever! Just as a show should be....chill,cheap and all about VW's!

Yeah Bill, and I might add that the winner of the Skidmarks Garage gift certificate has contacted me and is super happy with his score! seems he needs some welding on his bus and really can't wait to get his project to me.
Good for him as he gets the first $300.oo labor for free and good for me as I get another chance to gain a customer. I'm really glad to see someone who can use it actually win it!
Seems like No Dough is good for all.............

My first time attending the "No Doug BUS Show" turn out to be a great show even with a little rain off and on. loved the location thought that was cool. I meet alot of really nice people and saw alot of nice vw's of all types.but it seems to me that the show should be re-named the all vw's show because that was the impression i got from all the different types of vw's in attendance. also i heard later that a bug got the best of show award at a bus show?
had fun though!!

Yeah, I was a little surprised at that. I think last year it was more a bus show and everyone else could show up and park outside the bus area. Not so much this year. I think it still had the same cool vibe.

Well.....
Things have changed from last year.. Winterjam is no more.. We wanted the bus show from Winterjam do to the fact we were the ones who brought it to them in the first place... That is how No Dough Bus Show started... We want everyone to feel welcome at the show.... But focus more on the buses.. yes a 47 split won best of show at this years event.... Did you see the car? Come-on ...Super over the top clean... We have never really focus to much on awards at this show... It's not the top priority...I don't even want to do trophies.... not my thing.... It's about a weekend of hanging out with our friends in the VW community.... As far as I know, this is the only show that doesn't change a dime to come to any of our events. VW people helping VW people....
So... Where do we go from here??? Change the name??? We where thinking No Dough Weekend ... like we did on the fliers... But I'm still going to make the buses the focus of the show..... Tell us what you think...

As I posted before the show even happened. It is a show open to all VWs with an emphasis on the bus. Bubbas right, since Winterjam folded we will include all VWs in the show. The buses will get their own area. All other VWs in the other.the show is about having a good time, checking out VWs and not going broke doing it. Its not about the trophies and who or what won. Plenty of buses took awards........Tims 47 just had the quality for the top award. Next year who knows what will win.

Tim's Split getting the award is actually a good thing. It tells you that anyone that participates is a candidate for some award.

Agreed, i lost my dash card between getting it and parking. Didn't really care about it. Had a great time.
