Just thought I'd start a thread for this years Foreign Car Werks Show-N-Shine on July 15th, 2012 in Bound Brook, NJ. This is a FREE event with food, music (the good kind), and lots a great company. This is a very casual event with Club Choice Awards. If you haven't been to this show before check out some of the previous show threads and you'll see what you've been missing...

When I was handing out the flyers at Englishtown a number of people were really complimentary of the design. Nice job on the artwork.

I spoke to Billy and he told me that the crew at FCW has started making preparations for this year's event already. I'm looking forward to another relaxed VW gathering on the East coast.

Will there be a little swapmeet section or just show cars? If no swap section, let me know if anyone is interested in any of the parts in my ads, and I'll bring them for you in my buggy, thanks.

The show does not have a formal swap area like your typical track event, but if you park in the grass across the street from the shop you should be able to sell a handfull of items in front of your car. There are usually a few folks selling luggage, magazine subscriptions, and toys, so as long as you don't bring a trailer worth of parts you should be okay laying a few things out. Call Billy @ FCW if you want to get the okay on anything specific - 732.805.0907.

Just a few weeks away, a bunch of us will be at the shop next Saturday to straighten things up a bit before the event. This is always a fun gig. Get their early, things tend to fill up quickly.

There's a liquor store right across the street too! My band is all ready to rock for your pleasure. Any one who plays an instrument is welcome to bring it join us! JT

I'm looking forward to being there. Jeffrey, sorry I couldn't come last Saturday to help set up; I was on a rafting trip on the Lehigh River and got caught in a thunder and lightning storm with wind and a deluge of rain that seemed to turn the water to mud. It will be nice to have a relaxing outing for a change! Very Happy

Joe, we had a great turnout at the shop cleanup last Saturday. Not that you couldn't have helped out, but we did just fine with who was on hand.
I, too am looking forward to two great shows in one weekend!
