There are threads here over all kinds of models, years, looks and everything in between. But in my searching I didn't see one over the Champagne Edition models during the late 70's. The beetle, the bus, the rabbit. Please post your Champagne Edition here, regardless of what model it is. Tell me about it. What are the build dates? The M-Codes? Samba Member Karl was gathering this information at one point years ago, but the info wasn't posted (as far as I could tell from searching)

Champagne Owners, Unite!

I'll start off with a couple pics of mine, but I want to see what you all are doing with yours. Is it a DD? Is it your pride and joy? How much do you know it's history?

Can't wait to see what you all have for me. Let's do this!

Never had one, but my wife's dad had one when she was a tweenager. They called it "The Root Beer Bus" because of the paint.
