| Zuggbug, Is the rest of the bus going to clean up that good? From the pics of the bus I thought it had alot of surface rust, but now seeing the lid and apron looks more like a spray paint over the top of good og paint.. Looking good! |

Today I got my '58 DDP running and took it for a ride through the horse field. Got a vidio on fasebook of my pops driving it but I don't know if I can link to it from here. _________________ Jason Arms

I wish the rest of the bus was that nice. the engine lid and the rear apron were in the bus, so they did not get the beautiful surface rust.

Finally broke down and shelled out for a rebuilt steering box for the 62. took about 95% of the play out of the steering, I now feel safe driving it over 30MPH _________________ '62 15 Window in need of a good home

Finished tweaking the Brakes, put in the Engine lid seal, and tried on the 16" BD rims I've been saving to use on the Singlecab.
I'll be taking them for a sand blasting & powder coat next week, then some tires !! _________________ '65 Bus/Panel/camper W/T/Shed

OH SHIT! I just opened the bed and listening to the rain drops laying down is much better than listening to the rain drops sitting down. _________________

Hopefully the next thing you'll discover is that the experience gets even better with a nice bottle of porter and your lady friend. _________________

The SC is geeting close to commissioning stage. Finished up wiring to the point where I'm ready to put power to it to test.
Installed my Chris Murray bed slats.
Installed fuel tank, reserve tap and OG SC hard fuel line.
Installed safari seals and latch plates.
I need to get my 1904 from my 15 at Fred's, install clutch and release bearing and a couple other little things and I'm ready for the first drive in 30 plus years.

Which Safari kit did you install? Im wondering because I installed a set this past weekend and wasn't really pleased with the fit/shape of the frames. Wondered how yours turned out.
