Actually those shrouds were made for the Brazilia sedan which had a lower engine compartment than a bug. Since the same Brazilias also came with dual carbs and a Karmann Ghia type pan (same width but not a one for one swop) they were used By Puma when they built the Pumas
I personally think that they are not as good as a late model stock shroud but each to his own opinion.

I have one on my engine.
I found mine on Ebay several years ago. Some guy was parting out an engine out of a Brazilian Bug.

| my friend advice to use the german stock doghouse fan shroud instead doghouse low profile puma fan shroud , is there any difference between them in cooling ? Which one is better? |
