type 1 motor, pre 58?

this motor number begins with 2, which would make it a 1958. dist. appears to be much older. can anyone help to identify?

Bigger picture available? There are earlier engines that begin with a 2...need the full number for proper ID: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/chassisdating.php

Early Type 1, and Type 2 engines had the crank handle pulley attachment and the flat top 383 distributor is pre '54 ish, although the generator pulley is post '55...bit of a mix really and the fanshroud later.
