ok so it looks like the source of my problem maqy be the clutch servo diaphram. Appearently if this is damaged or torn it doesnt allow the engaging/dis engaging of the clutch.
i cant find a diagram of the automatic transmission that is descent. Nor can i find the process of removing the servo diaphram.
would anyone like to voulenteer me info or diagrams of the autostic transaxle nso i at least know where the damn thing is located.

if it is an autostick, and not a true Type 3 automatic, you may want to ask the question over in the appropriate beetle forum.... then you would have to ask the obvious question: Why did someone hack in an autostick?

my mistake i9t is auto matic. im new and dont realy know the proper term. None the less i cant find a diagram. I see people talk about the clutch servo, or the valve body, or the vaccume lines and i cant find a descent diagram to help me look for this stuff to begin my repairs. i will order the bently bok eventually but now funds are low and i have to see what i can make happen on a shoestring budget

NOT going to run/drive without a Bentley! Twisted Evil Even the Automatic Transmission Shop would need your Bentley to fix it.
