I used it on my 356, the paint layed out super nice. Covered easily in one coat (I put on 3). Very nice paint. The only hard part was cleaning the gun afterwards, yikes!! The colour just keeps coming and coming!
Not cheap but my 356 is tiny and the price was very reasonable.

Just for the outside, the actual paint I used was less than 2 quarts, I still have some left over. That's 3 coats, but the car is tiny. Not counting any harder and I reduced it 10%
It covers sooo well. Plus that's without buffing, so it should really power out nice. _________________ 57 PGSG 'Carpet Bus'

| It took a gallon of each color to paint my '56, and I'm out. I wish I had bought more. |

Agreed! Buses are gigantic, lots of surface area. It also depends on the number of window openings, they seem to take up alot of paint for very little effect.
My 21 Window took 1.5 Gallons of paint (unmixed!). I spent alot of time trying to get paint into the windows. That's single colour, I ran out of steam to do the 2 tone!
I just posted my 356 pics for the colour effect, I love Glasurit! But I don't think I could ever afford it for a bus complete. _________________ 57 PGSG 'Carpet Bus'

Greg did you paint your bus the bottom colour over the whole bus then apply the top colour? |
No, we did not. |

I bet you are correct here, maybe a little left over for touch ups. |

Just ordered the paint yesterday...I didnt think it priced out to bad....a gallon and a half of sealing wax red was $664 ... 3 quarts of chestnut brown was $498 _________________ 58 15 window

Glasurit line 22 is great paint, and even though it seems expensive, you paid less per gal. than I did 4-5 years ago. |
