| Swapped the original generator to a more reliable one. Changed the gearbox oil and greased the front beam. |

My bumpers were a mess and I have been looking for some patina bumpers. Mine where dented, cut, bent, and brush painted from years ago. I got these from a fellow CJVWS member, thanks Bill.
I ended up sand blasting all the hardware and brackets.
By far my favorite

Had it inspected, licensed and drove it for the first time after being apart for 4+ years.

| Adjusted the mudflap bracket that kept drooping & causing the mudflap to drag when backing out of the garage on the side that I had to replace the over rider bracket after getting tapped at a traffic light the other week. 3 trips to Home Depot, one return all to get 2 lock washers a new hex bolt & washer that cost all of $1.50. Spent all day running around on something that should have taken about 1 trip and about 5 minutes under the car. |

I didn't want to open a new topic because of my question, but I hope ther will be somebody who can help to me.
So i would like to know thee original position of the oval taillight (56-61).
I found this figure but this is good for the the heart taillight.
Somebody can show me a similar figure? Big problem, that there are a lot of workshop where they didn't know the correct original position and look like weird when the taillight are more higher than the original which is very dissapointing for me.
Thanks! |
