I'm sure someone's dealt with this issue. I'm hoping to deal with it before it gets way out of hand. Does anyone have any good tips? I was thinking maybe of using cable raceway (like you'd put network cable through) as a new facade but I'm interested in hearing what others have done. It's getting worse rapidly.

Sand & treat the rust and paint- "Maple" was the color that worked for me- just mask the words or paint over.

Mine was starting to peel and rust. I sanded it down and spray paint it. The stock paint is kinda thick, lots of sanding. GoWesty has decals for the water/battery panel. Mine's still looks 2 years later.

Same here.....pull/sand/paint. Stickers from GW. Sanding was a MF'er. Thick original paint.

This is what I did:

I agree with Leebo, sanding was most of the work. So you might as well get a little extra space out of the deal Smile

Oddly my stove is fine... it's the metal parts of the poptop arms that are totally flaking paint. Crying or Very sad

Ok, I've pulled the 3 screws from under that metal piece and the two from either side, I've removed the LED panel, I've removed the stove knobs and retaining nuts and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get this darn thing off. What am I missing? The bottom seems loose but the top might as well be attached to the stovetop/sink. Can someone help me out here?

Pull out bottom and push upwards I believe. This link might help with the plate and paint color.

Same here, and while I was at it I gave him my front table mount stand, jump seat attchment bar and anything else that looked old and peeling. IIRC it only cost me under $40. Looks awesome, the powder coater did a good job on the color match, and now I need to replace the sticker.

I just removed one yesterday and it was pretty stuck. You can try some PB blaster on the top edge of the stove face where it connects to the top/sink siver part. While pulling the bottom of the stove face towards you, just clear of the plywood at the bottom, you can strike the top of the stove face with a hammer (protected by some wood) to free it from the top.

If you PM me, I have a spare Brown Stove faces in good condition I can sell to you.

Good luck
