Looking forward to seeing everyone. Sean, are you and Shannon off on Friday? I'm trying to plan when to be up there. Also, hs anyone heard From Tom? Is he coming to the show on Sunday? _________________ Jeff

Hmmm... "Beautiful Loser"? "Roll Me Away"? or perhaps "Like A Rock"?
As long as it's not "The Fire Down Below"...
Let's hope it's "Travelin' Man"!
Chad, I laugh with you, not at you, for I have an H case too. I'm just hoping that my "builder" doesn't give me bad news. _________________ Mike

Do not speak of the great one with such disrespect. Now that you mention it, I think I'll nickname the old H case "the silver bullet" in honor of his band. "Here I go, on the road again...."
I am also petetioning the cruisers to play good music at the show. Please see the thread and join me! _________________ Use "to" for "give the wrench to me."

all I have to do is open the door and the pub is open. Completely not stocked but it could be open. _________________ John

Of course there's a better line in that song for your old H case. "you just want to explode....." _________________ My 71 Ghia Been in my family since 1980

You can visibly see the difference and how worn the one I replaced was.
It's not supposed to go up past the threads. Would never tighten that way.
Bad pic but on the ground on all four wheels again. Have to install the sway bar tomorrow. 2 new shocks, 4 new ball joints, recent tie rods, new seals, tomorrow it gets new zerks, new sway bar bushing and mounts, new rag joint, and new outer bearings. Got the wrong inners. Will exchange them. Should ride a lot better now. _________________ My 71 Ghia Been in my family since 1980

How the heck did that wear? It looks like it wasn't put together right at some point. I'll bet that made for some rough handling. Is the eccentric different from a bug? You might be able to borrow the one from the 67. |

| I was thinking the sam thing. How does a part that just sits there wear out? Maybe someone reamed it out. Bugs ball joint shaft is smaller. |
