The white vinyl on the interior of 1979 bus is stained (orange-ish) and dirty. i've tried pretty much every cleaner i can find to try and get the stains off. i wonder if anyone has found anything that can at least bring the vinyl back to some semblance of cleanliness. Thanks in advance.

If youve cleaned it well, and there are marks still behind-then they are stains. Done deal.

They sell shoe dye at any shoe place... you could get creative and go that route? They have just about EVERY color possible! Did this in my 71 Bug, looks good and def saved me some bucks that I of course threw into the Bus!!!!

If the vinyl is still soft you can clean it then use Bulldog and SEM vinyl paint to recolor it. Shoe dye may come off on you.

Tide powdered laundry detergent. The kind with bleach in it. And a scrub brush. Works good on old whitewall tires also. Get the brush wet first and then put a hand full on the brush.
