Anyone try to bush a nosecone to accept a smaller studded trans mount? I believe the mount is for a older bus. I am trying to put this mount on a 67 transmission, but the studs are much smaller than what is on there now! Would I run into amy problems? I am already in deep as I have the engine out, but leaving the trans in. Should I just bite the bullet and buy the correct mount. This mount is german so I was hoping to be able to use it. Thanks for the help

I've got a 66 bus with a stock trans. Somewhere in it's life it got the smaller studded mount installed with sleeves to make up the difference. Been running it that way for years without a problem. Although if it needs replacement, I'll go to the right one.
