That one is prepubescent. Once it hits puberty the snorkel will sprout and the horn tone will lower,.....a bit

Edit: What kind of carb is that?

that is a vintage Holley Bug Spray.

It was based on the Ford flathead carb casting with modifcations.

So out of curiosity what was on the bare area above the windshield? was there an even more awesome snorkel at one time? or a sight for the lasers?, or maybe another way cool antenna?

I hate to disappoint you but what was on the bare area above the windshield was paint.

thanks for the feedback guys. I am using Autodesk 3Ds Max for the modeling and Adobe Photoshop to make the bitmaps and textures.
Ive got quite a bit of time invested in it. I am always learning new techniques so I sometimes i get sidetracked trying to figure out if i can do new stuff, and it looks like nothing has changed.
here are some random renders i took during the initial process

Thanks for posting those.

Man, that's one ugly T-top bar. I want to build the model sans T-tops so you can see the interior. (And because it saves me the trouble of making the roof panels.) I prefer the open air look, but I'm afraid the whole car would fold up like an accordion if you took out that bar.
