Hi,
I apologize if this has already been covered, I did search for a similar thread and I've read through the suspension/wheels/tires thread but I couldn't find anything Confused If you know of a thread that can help, please feel free to post a link, much appreciated.
This is mainly aimed at GermanLook folk, or people who know about handling,
I am currently restoring my '68 beetle and am looking for help to make it handle better.
the plan is now - 2" beam (to compensate for dropped spindles and disc brakes) And wide wheels all round. Is it possible to get porsche 914 rims 7" wide?? Or would 5.5" rims be better? What sort of tire sizes would i be looking at for these? Also, is it neccesary to narrow my beam? I want the wheels to fit under the stock wings but again - handling is my priority.
