I purchased a fog light from a local Packard fellow a couple weeks ago and have been unable to find any other info about it. It says on the fog light "S&M Lamp Co. No 155."
It is quite large and oval instead of round. I have asked numerous folks about it and no one really seems to know much about them.
Here are a couple pics for reference. I placed it next to an oil bottle for a size comparison.

The style of the lamp appears to be pre WWII. _________________ DHC

| From what I have found out it seems the company was around in the 20's and 30's so that would date the light to pre WWII, like you said. Anybody know anything else? |

I have a friend that owned a 1947 Boles Aero travel trailer that had side marker lights that were marked S&M. Here is a photo of the trailer but no close up of the lights.
Here is a thread in the Jalopy Journal:

| That's a great lead. Thanks. I did see an expired ad for one exactly like mine that sold for $250. I'm trying to get the guy that found it to find me another. Mine also has the original bumper mount bracket. |
