Heading South from Point Pleasant, the Rivers Edge Campground is about 14 miles down Route 2. It is about 2.5 miles South of the second chemical plant, M&G Polymers and is located on the right.
Coming North out of Huntington, it is about 18 miles North of Huntington, about 1/2 mile North of Glenwood.
Bring games, bring the fishing pole, bring a basket ball or volley ball. There is a large playground in the biggest sandbox I have seen for the little ones. Plenty room to pass ball or frisbee.
Plenty firewood for Friday night camping. Bring some marshmellows, gram crackers and some Hersey bars and we can make all the smores you can eat.
I will have a medium sized grill for both Friday and Saturday. I have the hotdogs, hamburgers and buns covered. Can someone else bring katsup, mustard. Maybe a dish of a patato salid or beaked beans. Bring your own drinks. Maybe some one to get plastic dinner ware and disposable plates.
A sneak peak of almost done tropheys:

Joe you've done a great job on the tropheys - you have many hidden talents that are starting to surface. There are many members that add to the success of the club - in many different ways. Looks like it will be a week-end to remember - hope to be able to make it down.

Thanks for the Props John, hope to see you this weekend!
Thanks Chris, bringing the condiments would be great.
Anyone else for untensils and disposable plates?
I've got a large roll of trash bags. Got the propane bottle filled today and the grill ready. I am going to pick up a couple tables from my sister.
Weather forecast is looking good too! _________________ The closer your tattoos are to your body holes, the crazier you are.

Just passing this along if anyone is interested:
http://www.cruisinforacure.org/home
Registration is free and takes about a minute to complete. You can make a donation when you pick up the forms and dash plaque the day of the show. All the money is being donated to kidney cancer research. It's a pretty decent show. Scott, Keith, and I attended it last year. It was extremely crowded. Apparently, they were expecting 100+ cars and 300+ showed up. So, if you plan on attending, try to arrive pretty early. Hope to see some of you guys there. |

Thanks Chris!
I wanted to bring up that P-Burg show this Saturday as a suggestion for a cruise/monthly get together. I intend on going to it if at all possible. I have never been to a car show in that area. _________________ The closer your tattoos are to your body holes, the crazier you are.

Hey guys, I've been planning on coming this weekend but things aren't looking good. My elderly grand-dad lives next door to me and has really took a turn for the worse the past 2-3 days. I hate to miss the campout and show, but some things are just more important. If there is anything you guys need just let me know, I can get it and send it with Chris. If things improve I'll try to make it, if not I'll see you next month.

Hello all
Made it home from Anchorage. Going to try and make it to the show Saturday but Sunday being Mothers day and me being gone half the year I'd better be here so my wife doesn't kill me.
I need to do some spring cleaning and have this 66 split window bus here I'd like to sell. I brought it in form va. Thought I'd let you local guy know about it first. Then I'm going to e-bay it or something. Its rough but very fixable. Has engine but haven't tried to start. Clear title too .If you want to come out and take a look or want to see a picture you can tex me at 3045317617. Later everyone.

Hope everything works out well for your family Shaun.
The tropheys are finished!
Ray Keith and I are going to the campground early tomorrow to set up the tent and get things ready.
Hope all who can come has a safe trip in, and see you there! _________________ The closer your tattoos are to your body holes, the crazier you are.

| Well everthing seems to be looking up. I got my grand-dad to the hospital today, and I think they're gonna get him straightened up for a little while longer. Last night I didn't think he was going to make it, but today things are looking better. If things continue to get better I'm gonna try to come over and camp tommorow night and socialize a little, but will probably leave saturday morning sometime. |

Hey guys, I had a really good time camping this weekend, especially sitting around the campfire till midnight hearing all the stories. Luke really enjoyed it too(maybe because he got to stay up till midnight and eat almost a whole bag of marshmellows by himself, even though I think he regretted it the next morning). We need to do that again sometime.
Note to Keith: Next time get mild sausage and a heater.
Note to Chris: Next time leave the Pontiac shirt and Kia hat at home. |

by the way, did you guys notice when shaun and i left, he couldnt pull away from me? i think i can take him out of the hole! you hear that shaun? see you guys at the next meet. |

Hey the camping was fun. Definitely need to do it again. Thought more members would have came out to support our first club show but it didn't happen. Just glad we had some people show up.
As for all you guys who camped with your little heaters (you know who you are) I'll buy you some pink mittens and ear muffs for next time . I'll also bring you some milk and cookies.
