I'm sure there is that!
FYI for you easteners: To make sure you get into any show out here, you MUST get there very early!!!
Unlike the east coast shows where the gates open around 8am or later and you can mosey on down at leisure, you must get there before Dawn's crack sometimes! Matter'O'factly the Classic, as huge a show as it is, has had to close the gates a couple of times BEFORE 9am even!!! So you have been warned. It's okay to party at night but do realize you have to get up early to make the shows!
Hell, at the last OCTO I was among the very last few to "fill" the lot! |
and just to add to pyromans post, theres a ton of things going on each day at alot of different places, the cruise at Nicks is awesome, just get there by noon if your bringing your ride, i did the Vee Dub open house till 12 then got over to Nicks by 1pm and it was packed. as we get closer there usually a list of events going on, and if you like to bowl, the Clyde Berg bowl a rama was cool even though i live down in san diego i stayed at the Crown from thurs-sun and took in all that was going on VW related in and arounf OC and LA county during that week it was well worth it!! stopped by all the suppliers i deal with, for you guys coming from out of state and never done it before its worth the time to go to alot of the places you get parts from, Wolfsberg West, ISP, Socal imports, EIS, Gene Berg ect, and speaking of Gene Berg seeing the toy display there on thurs from Mrs B. was one of the best stops my son and i made!! then theres the cruise in at the Old School Mcdonalds its was a great week, look back a few pages on the 201 VW classic thread, there was a good schedule posted of what was going on, im sure it will be updated this yr as we get closer,,, _________________ (0\!/0)

Hahaa ! While you may not get to see all you hoped ...... what you get to see is better than you hoped
If I can get there in the Highroof or the buddies Honda ...... well worth attending the whole weekend. _________________ This video makes me happy when I am sad.

I heard a rumor that they will be towing and/or NO PARKING across the street in the shopping center from Nicks Burgers Friday , can anybody confirm or deny this.
