Dread head Jeff? He has shaved his head. So no more dreads, but most know him as Murphy...I knew a whole bunch of folks who know about and had visited all the sausage kings cars on a late nite auto body mission, and got chased away with the treat of visiting their homes if anything was stolen, He knew all of the BIG playas in the game, and where they lived...talk about keeping a eye on your shit. I personally didnt fuck with him, after all he kills mutha fuckas! OLD VOLKS MARK _________________ OV MARK OVP RTK

Yes, AFAIK both Ray Schubert and Mark Merrill bought many of the Sausage King's collection and parts. _________________ Jim Kikuchi

At least that scumbag will not have the chance to harm anyone else. It is a good thing he died, rather than waste all that taxpayer money rotting in prison awaiting the death penalty.

You wonder how anyone who likes Volkswagen's could do something like this. Do they show his car collection in the Show? _________________ 1956 RHD Oval.

I googled this guy yesterday to see what he died of. He had a blood clot that went to his lungs (pulmonary embolism). His defense attorney stated that he had head injuries years earlier in a motorcycle accident and he said he believed that had affected his emotional stability.
Sad story all around for all involved. _________________ Chris

I wonder if one of the meat inspectors was responsible for the motorcycle accident. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch!

any recent pictures of that split beetle?
Watching the show now - no mention of VWs, just that his backyard was considered to be a 'junkyard' by his neighbors. He punched out his 72YO neighbor, which derailed his Mayoral campaign. _________________ Cheers,

Here's the former "Sausage King" 1957 oval window Beetle that Mark Merrill currently owns, took these pics during the San Jose Kelley Park weekend:

Think of the fun you could have building your display to show the car- the possibilities are endless! _________________ Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.~Vernon Law
