¡Hola a todos!
Had my Ghia for about 20 years. Sitting tight, not pulling the trigger
on a restore job. Like most; family, kids, home, job, blah, blah, blah.
Thinking about finally firing away on restore.
Production/Front Trunk tag has numbers 5791379
same number below back seat 5791379
Engine block number 8034431
Looking at the Technical Data at the top of the Samba page is somewhat
of a challenge. Am I reading it right? Jan 64 production date??
Thanks for the help!
Photos to follow.

Looks like that VIN would be August - September of 1963 production date, and the car would be a 1964 model. But, that's a guess. Best way to get an actual date is by the birth certificate.
