Im searching for any pics or info I can find on the Kar Mfg Camaro Kit car.
Ive searched everywhere online, and all over this site with little luck..... Ive seen two or three in person, and though they are funky as hell, I dig em'.
That Dave Deal look, is killer!
Please post up if you know anything or have any shots!
Thanks

I've seen that actual kit down at Bug-Out in manassas this past spring. That kit is a definite replica of the z-28! _________________ Knowledge is Power, Education is the Key....

Bought an incomplete shortened 1 early 1976, and made it road ready by late that summer:
Then, over the years, aero-dynamic'd it:
Sorry about taking so long to reply, join Samba. But, this little buggy is still fun to drive and I hope to keep her going for as long as I can still get into it! |

Although I've never kept track of the camaro buggy, I agree that there were 2 wheelbase versions, long and short.
They also made a buggy called the Wildcat that was a little more popular, , , can't imagine that they sold many camaros................. _________________ Boston Bob E.

...and several others. The guy I bought mine from showed me the Kar Mfg catalog he bought it from. There was a mini-T-bird, a mini-57-Chevy, and a very stubby little mini-Van. Years later a guy from Houston said the molds were purchased by a fiberglass boat builder.
Here's a rear view of mine, fitted-up with a Rabbit bumper:
