short answer yes. correct me if I'm wrong but you have to cut the old front frame head off and weld in the standard beetle front frame head basically _________________ 1971 super beetle

The obvious answer is: Anything CAN be done, but this would be a pretty serious project.
It ain't a bolt-on swap, by any means. The smart money would be buy a standard, if you want to run a beam front end. |

If you can weld? then its no bid deal on A Baja.. you just need to swap pan head, you can cut one off A donor car, or you can git A new replacement pan head... Just make sure you git the new one on strata and true..
If you wanted to do this on A full body car then you would be looking at making A whole new custom trunk.. _________________ 1302s sunroof..

Yes, there is a bolt in conversion, Hot VW's ran an article on it. Didn't look too hard. I'll see if I can find it. Maybe somebody else has it available.
