Its just a button on canvas tent, same thing all chop top convertibles use.
It would only be good for another 2 seater roadster, they are too short for a regular chop top bug.

70ish VW TRIKE PROJECT 4/SALE OR TRADE Price: $1500
I HAVE A PROJECT vw trike titled as a 2004 honda front end,needs ALOT OF WORK and clean up but its all there,engine is a 70ish 1200 that ran when u took off my other trike to put a 1600 on it, all parts are there to make it run and stop,just mainly needs alot of painting cleaning up been sitting for 3 yrs that i know of in garage or under cover though,the only thing ive done to it is bleed the front and back brakes which are both working now. the clutch master needs a rebuild,the engine is off at the moment but might be installed if i have enough time,comes with 2 gas tanks and seats that are on it,even though u can change to suit ur needs,carb needs rebuild also,as i said comes with everything to make it run but a battery and voltage regulator other than that its all there,i`ll take 1500 cash or trades just send pics and info of ur trade if so,interested in just about any vehicle not needing to much work,dune buggys,motorcycles,cars,trux,or if u have something else to trade just ask,im in st.pete,florida so it will have to be picked up here"no-shipping" sorry,im going to try and put pics in here but if i cant just ask for em thru email.thnx and any other questions just holler

I think that workout machine in the background would have more structural rigidity than this POS... WOW.

I first thought they were lighters too, but if you zoom in they appear to be spent shotgun shells, looks like more steel and brass shell casings around the top as well.
