Bus depot is great -
I recently ordered a set of door scrapers and they are back ordered for a month or 2 - FYI
I ended up ordering from CIP 1 but the scrapers are slow shipping from Canada.
Just a bit of knowledge _________________ Nothin left to do....

So, I ordered a set of Hankook RA08's from Bus Depot and they were 99 bucks a pair with 60 bucks shipping... I remember reading them being 79 from there just back in september. I didnt know about the price increase but im still stoked to get the tires _________________ Dont ever pick your nose... It usually leads to RUST! |

You've been working at this bus for quite some time now. It's good to see the long term commitment. Most projects start out in a blaze and end up out back in the bushes--glad to see this is not one of them! _________________ "Aircooled VWs are like roaches in that if you let one in, they'll soon be nesting all around you in great numbers."

I moved to Alabama a few months ago but I had to leave the bus in Gerogia so that slowed me down, But my goal is to have her done by August. Im waiting to get my heads back from Headflow Masters then I can finish my engine. _________________ Dont ever pick your nose... It usually leads to RUST! |

Hey, I have gotten some work done on the bus! Its in a diffrent thread on my engine...http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4...;start=120
Seeing as I live in Tuscaloosa and the bus is in Atlanta; Its hard to get ALOT of work done, but shes coming along. I plan to have ALL the mechanicals done very soon. I have new brake pads, shoes, lines, ect. waiting in GA. I have a restored fuel tank and the German Supply fuel line kit waiting in GA. My engine just has to have the exhaust installed and carbs installed/tuned. I also have new choke, accelerator cables and the vacuum line kit from GS. I plan to paint the engine bay using aerosol cans. I haven't decided if I am going to get Sage Green paint or use white. Thanks for your intrest in ole Bertha! I wont stop till shes done! _________________ Dont ever pick your nose... It usually leads to RUST! |
