Got a flat in Arizona on our way across country, so running on spare. Need to buy new tires and am currently in Albuquerque. Anyone local know who stocks them - apparently not an easy size to find - stock 71 SB tires - 195 R 15 tires....

Any assistance greatly appreciated!!! Question

Edited to correct size

14 inch isn't stock size. You have a better chance finding a 14. Have a tire company look up the size not by the car.

Yes. I have bought a dozen so far and they seem to be a good tire for the price. Good luck.

There ARE a lot, that's for sure. Apparently the tires on the Bug were 14 years old and that, combined with the right rear running a little low on air and the heat conspired to cause the inner sidewall to pop a little hole. Felt it right away and pulled over. As I was pulling over I heard the little pop, and actually stopped, got out and watched the tire deflate!
