so my front beaqrings on my kingpin are not so good, i have some ball joint spindles that i think they are good on. will those fit?? thanks

Nope, sorry man, the spindles are slightly different.

What type of drum do you have up front? If your using the early style 5 lug drums then you just need new stock style link pin bearings. If your using the latter 4 lug drum, like what is on a ball joint beam, you need special conversion bearings to run the later 4 lug drums on the early link pin spindle.

Oh, and we are talking about the stock vw link pin spindle, not combo spindles or anything like that right?...just wanted to be sure we are on the same page.

Hahahaha Laughing Nice try, but I think your out of luck man. Sounds like new bearings for you.

AutoZone sells Timken bearings. They cost about $20 each. I would rate them very close to FAG or SKF bearings as far as quality goes. FAG and SKF bearings were the original factory equipment on bugs.
