Saved this 73 back in sept. The yard was having an auction on all their classic cars they had. I just happened to be there pulling parts for someone elses car when they had it.
It was more complete thou.

| saved a 73 bug body (with a ton of parts) a 60's something chassis with body that was shot from a buddies yard (was going to crush it), 72 bus from a yard that had been driven in over 15 years ago, and the guy I got my 74 westy from got it from a junkyard it had sat in since 1990 |

I've saved more than a few from the crusher, but my favorite is my '52 Zwitter, which was pulled from a scrapyard in 1967- and hasn't been touched until I bought it this year.
I just find it funny that a car that got scrapped 45 years ago was "saved" but hasn't had a single thing done to it. I'd be really interested in knowing why it was scrapped in the first place.
