Get ready for Busses at the Brewery!
Note: We are starting an hour earlier this year.
The day begins with a cruise through the historic West side of our beautiful city. We will meet in the parking lot of the shopping area located at 1466 Garden of the Gods Road. Take exit 146 of f of Interstate 25, head West (towards the mountains) 1.3 miles and the shopping area will be on your right. We will begin assembling cars for the cruise at 9:30 AM with a departure time of 10:00 sharp(ish). The cruise will wind through some of the scenic routes our city has to offer with our destination being Bristol's Brewery. Bring your camera as there will be some not to be missed opportunities for photographs!
Bristol's Brewing is located at 1647 South Tejon Street, take exit 140 (Tejon Street) off of Interstate 25, South on Tejon 0.3 miles and the Brewery will be on your left. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon perusing some of the finest VW's in Colorado at this non-judged event. Sample some delicious Brats from the fine Volks at Edelweiss Restaurant. Drop in for a cocktail or lunch at the Blue Star Restaurant. All establishments within walking distance of the event! And of course, quaff an award winning brew, fresh from the source! Though this is a non-judged event, a handful of special prizes will be given out by the promoters to select participants...it could be you!! We hope to see you there!! |

No Jonny, you can't bring down your bug or bus! Shove them straight up your A$$! I'd bet you could sell that shirt to them though!!
| Quote: | Every year we have some questions from fellow VW enthusiasts bringing their Type 1, Type 2, or Thing to the Invason. The "TYPE 3 INVASION" appreciates your enthusiasm. However, this is a 'different' type of event. In the course of a summer the T-2 crowd has their "Buses By the Bridge" in Havasu, and "The Bulli Brigade", in Florida, and as usual there are many events for T-1's to join, like the VW Classic, Sacramento Bug O Rama and Octo and on and so forth. But since the T-3 is one of the orphans of the VW world, this is a get together for T-3's only. You are welcome to come and see all the various T-3's, including possibly some even more rare T-34's, but T-1's and T-2's are not 'invited' to the Invasion as such. We hope you will understand.
Finally, remember what the original focus of the Type 3 Invasions is... Show up at a smallish town, meet other Type 3 people with a common interest, enjoy building a kindred bond with said other people, enjoy each others company and cars, maybe even learn something new at one of the tech sessions, and most of all, just relax! |

Its that time again, Syndicate CC Summer Show.
Saturday July 14th!
Save this date, just 3 weeks away.....
We're really stoked about the location this year, the event is at Local 46 Bar located at the corner of 46th & Tennyson.
So check out the Rides, grab a beer, food trucks will be in the parking lot.
Plenty of parking, you can even hang out at Berkley park right across the street.

If anyone that is evacuated needs a place to stay or store some stuff please let me know. I live in Highlands Ranch and have more than enough finished basement space for folks to stay.
This fire is a huge tragedy.....I hope everyone stays safe.
