Thanks
I have been waiting for the pans to be welded in. I was prepared to do whatever I needed to so I could get it to the classic but that doesn't look feasible at this point.
I hate being at someone else's mercy I need to learn to weld. |

Right on kevin. Get that pan done and you'll have a sweet ride well worth the effort. _________________ Jason "notchboy" Weigel

Snails pace to this point but I am back on track.
Got some green welded in and I spent about an hour removing tar board so I could have the pan blasted and powdercoated tomorrow after work.

Not sure if really early cars have them or not, but I had to drill 2 of the pan bolt holes under the rear seat.. my OG pans had 2 more bolt holes than the green pans came with.. Not really a big deal, just needs added. _________________ let me get you a phone book...you can call.. |

Thanks for the Props guys....Doing my best. Looking forward to it coming together. Been too long. I've never owned a VW for more than a year and this one has shifted burners at least three times over the course of a year and three months.
We'll see how this one pulls out |

Your building a sweet notch man! I didn't know anyone else who used green pans when I did mine, but will worth the time, money and effort.
Maybe one day our two cars will meet up, your notch and my square. _________________ let me get you a phone book...you can call.. |
