steve 22 I've got a set identical to those for my 77. I was wondering what brand they were and where I can get some lug bolts for them. I messed up and scraped the ones that I got with the rims by accident.

lots of cool rims being posted, but no U.S. Indy Mag wheels... rare or just unloved?

1970's U.S. Indy Mag for 4 bolt VW.

I have a steel rim the looks close to those and I haven't seen another like it yet. The alloy ones don't seem as hard to find.

My wife was watching a movie called "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency", and it was filmed in Botswana, just North of South Africa.
Of course, they had a male, gay, hair dresser in the movie, and he drives a VW Sedan cut down into a convertible, and he's running a set of (I think) Keels on it....

These have a fairly common look to them, but how rare are these Rocket wheels? Aluminum centers with steel rim.

Okay, they don't show them that long, and I was in the middle of cleaning up the kaferdave Valdez (I know what happens now when a Fram HP-1 has the rubber seal blow, and you have a deep sump, extra cooler, and filter, and 80 lbs of oil pressure, whatta friggin' MESS) so I really didn't get a good look at them. They kinda had the Keel look to them, but I've been wrong once or twice before Cool

Was told by the previous owner that these are original Shelby wheels that he bought back in 1979 when he bought the bus from the first owner. I will have to look harder when I finally get the bus but sorta cool none-the-less. Even if they just look like regular mag slots.
