Yes the white notch is gone. Im onto the next project My leg is good now Tram. I can kick you in the ass just fine now.
Im actualy having to work for a living now. I have my new job thats like a little baby I need to raise. On top of that my oldest son Etahn is now with me full time and he is a teenager. Lots going on in my life at the moment.
Gathering early cars together is what the 1500 club is about. We take into account mods and later cars into every event as well. So guys like Dave with very original late, documented squarebacks feel at home. Dave has some cool paper work alot like Kirk has.

I was joking, I was joking I get alot of that elitest stuff all the time brother.
Right now Tram is building the convertible T34. What Im doing is left to be seen.

For myself a owner of a 73,type 3 that got totalled just 3,weeks ago some of the comments make me laugh and yet allow me to see how some people who have either the financial or mechanical ability to keep a 30 year old car on the road is considered not good enough for certain groups. If you want to post something and limit the model and year take the time to invite instead of exclude people by blasting even so its the same model of vw and is rolliing its still not good enough to participate. Or just make your own club. Those are my thoughts, for cruises and meets I attended events in the past As a independent and reading things like this continue to solidify how I feel about my opinions...

I'm sorry to hear about your car
When I started this thread I was not trying to exclude people/certain groups but more of just trying to give guys more motivation to get the early cars out
