we can just extend "bay pride fest" all weekend instead of just a friday afternoon appletini sipping hour. _________________ ﻥ ﺥﻡ‎

Perhaps this could be the first ever attempted baywindow drive-in? Instead of resurrecting a bus from the woods and driving it out, could we just drive one in and leave it??? _________________ www.BussesandBabes.com

I did some minor maintenance to the '61 Mango today. While topping off the gear oil I noticed that my fuel tank-to-engine line had been rubbing against the throttle cable. I got that line switched and routed correctly in the retaining tabs above the cables. Also adjusted the rear brakes and made a note to replace the 6V fan belt. Otherwise I'm ready to go.
I'm still looking for one big spoon latch if anyone has any in NON-show condition.

Crukab and Jim have confirmed traveling with me to Trailbash. Hopefully Chris Tobey will be on-board as well. We may be able to leave Thur. _________________ Stan's Classic Service, specializing in air-cooled VWs: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=614073

What's a year, more or less?
apparently it was a typographical error by the signpainter, not an inability on our part to make it go in time for last years trailbash. _________________ ﻥ ﺥﻡ‎

excellent! you wont regret it!
the south philly van club will be having it's usual open house. no doubt we will be trying to make a recently resuscitated bus go up until the last minute. the might be a baywindow engine pull competition, tour of the collections, maybe glenn the bum will do his drink, lecture, drink, pass out, lecture, drink, disappear routine again. hours are 7am to 3:30pm friday.
the it's time to set the ghetto on fire at stately hurst manor with the ever popular FUBU-Q....swap meet is back on so bring junk to sell and plenty of money.
i'm still contemplating shirts. i will probably be making them. probably 3 doz or therabouts. no pre orders. it's too hard to keep track of. _________________ ﻥ ﺥﻡ‎

I did some more prep. today on the '61. Replaced one pop-out window with one that had 4 good hinge mount screw holes, as opposed to just 1 good hole that was in there before. Also resealed some loose pop-out window seals and drove it around a bunch. _________________ Stan's Classic Service, specializing in air-cooled VWs: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=614073
