Other than the paint, I love them. I always thought of having a couple of food service buses and sell some V-dub Grub.

Gordo.

ps. I own the rights to that name..tag tag no 'rasies.

The comments so far are all pretty funny. I don't know why it's making me think of this but I sometimes get emails from guys wanting me to supply them with some kind of a bracket to mount a fuel gauge in their splitbus, because they're worried that cutting a hole in their splitbus dash to mount a period correct early splitbus fuel gauge, that was designed to be cut into the dash, is going to drastically devalue their splitbus. There seems to be a lot of castration anxiety going around in this crowd, which is one reason I like seeing freak buses of this particular kind when they do make an appearance. The other reason being it proves that young blood is actually into splitbuses, indicating the future of the hobby is secure.

WHAT is going on there? aren't this the MTV "pimp my ride" guys?

too bad that the hatch won't open any more.... Wink
not really sure how practical these 2 campers/mobile kitchens are: they don't have fly screens.... Sick

I like it as a food truck, but you would have to sell a shitload of burgers to break even, after you handed over the pile of green bills to buy these food trucks...or just charge 200 bucks a burger Laughing

Admitted, it's a very inventive (amongst other things) concept, but how about structural rigidity of the car when you cut it open like that?

There's quite a big difference between cutting a hole in the dash and turning one into a Transformer food truck.

from the pictures, it looks like they didn't cut extra holes for additional gauges in the dash, so they're good as far as that goes Wink

So...No one likes them because they cut up a bus to do it? What if they built them from all new parts from Gerson?

Then Gerson might take issue with it.
Nothing compliments split-window bus' s, like 6 plasma's and 26" spinners.
