Well I learned my lesson..

Engine was only ran for a couple miles after the blowout to get it home.

I know the cylinder is junk, but are the rings ok to run? I haven't inspected them yet..

I'm currently trying to source a new cylinder, but it looks like I'm gonna have to buy a full set since I can't seem to find anyone selling them individually. Should I go ahead and get new rings?

Yes get new rings and also look closely at the ring lands. I pup 100 low lead in my turbo and it cracked 2 barrels and the ring land on one piston. Do yourself a favor and get new again and use more octane or less boost. Boost is addictive so better just run race gas.

Looks like you can get the AA brand cylinders for about 130$
Mahle is getting scarce, especially in that size

I *think* I have a set of 94mm barrels in the back shed just sitting in the box. I needed long barrels for my 2387 and the stock ones just got put up. Lemme go check... If they check out, you can have them. Hang on...

Okay, look here. The barrels, with no other marking saying are 94mm, measure out to 3 11/16" in the widest spot I can see. They are marked 1 thru 4 and (here is an added bonus and to my surprise) that there are matching pistons rings in the barrels. I have no idea why but they are. The long barrels came in a AA box so I put the other barrels in the box. They are used so the barrels and rings are matched. I have no idea how many miles there are but when the itch took for a 2387, it did not take long. If you want pix, I can do that...

I believe it was around .085" plus I have a .040" copper gasket in there. I'll measure it tonight. I'm guessing that having that much deck makes it more prone to crack?

Pulled the 3-4 side apart last night... #4 was cracked too, almost the entire length of the barrel.

I would say too much deck; especially with an extra .04 shim-what size is your head CC?
