original as stated in the 67 owners manual wich can be found uneder technical at the top of the page was 5.60 x 15 wich are not easily found most people use 165sr15 or 165/80/15 wich are also not stocked everywhere but can be found as this post discusses http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=286556&highlight=tire

That is a very good price. I have those tires but paid substantially more for them in the LA area.

Coker has many to 560/15's to choose from.

Personally, unless you are producing a concourse restoration that won't necessarily see much drive time, I'd pick up a set of 165/15 radials. Stock appearance but better handling than the bias plys.

I had to order a set from Walmart. Took three days to get here. I haven't driven enough to get a feel for whether they're better than the baldies I had.
