|
|
Right then lads and lasses, I've read a few threads on this site about making one of these cAbles, but they all talk about wiring through a switched jack which I'm not using so I'm a bit stuck.
Got a 3.5mm lead with 4 wires, blue, orange, red and green... Now looking at the end I'm assuming red goes to the tip of the jack, green is ground, and blue and orange are the wires for each channel.
So do I splice in a 4.7kohm resistor onto the red wire, which goes into the relevant pin on the din, the green goes into the ground pin on the din, and the blue and orange get wired together through another 4.7kohm resistor and also into the din?
Have I got this right?

Very nice. I have my local VW wiring guru making me up a cable. If he runs into trouble, I'll be keeping you in mind. _________________ sent from a phone using poor grammar and spelling |
