I'm away from my books, can't find info on this distributor, for type 3, not sure if correct setting is 5° ATDC with hoses on, or 0° with hoses off. It's DVDA, I think 1973 ish...
It's one way till a certain engine N° U........., then the other...
Not sure if distributor changes, so if anybody knows....
Thanks! |

if I recall correctly thats a 71-72 carbed manual distributor, it's supposed to be set at 0º with hoses ON, as long as the retard side is not leaking (which it always is), the vacuum canister is totally unavailable
I'd check the total centrifugal with hoses off and adjust to 32º |

I'm not seeing a 311-905-205T... if it's a 113-905-205T, then you set it to 0° static
There's a bunch of 311-905-205 dizzies with various letter suffixes, but I didn't see a T _________________

Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement for the 311 905 205 T ? It's for a stock type 3 twin solex engine.
Changing to a single vac can type is fine... any suggestions ? _________________ The Wonky Donkey Emporium

On your T3 use a 009 dist as there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. The pully will have (3) timing marks... use the middle one... (3000 RPM) to the pointer |
