TWT,

There is a VW group in NL and their forum is here:
http://forums.vogn.org/index.php

You might consider registering and posting on there as well. You will find people in the Maritimes are very friendly and sharing with time and help so I am sure you will have no problems finding beautiful places to stop. Its getting a little late in the season now but you might keep an eye out for groups of campers and RVs set-up along side the highway as rough camping in gravel pits and lake shores is quite common in Newfoundland or at least it was when I lived there growing up.

Good luck and sorry I missed you when you were in Winnipeg.

Gerald

We haven't found the 'gravel pits' yet, but this place and the people are FUNNY!

PostPosted: Thu Nov 14, 2013 12:23 pm    Post subject: We need a spot near Saint Stephan, NB! Reply with quote

Hello!
Long time, no chat!
We are now in St. John, NB, and on Saturday we will be heading towards Saint Stephan, with our planned crossing on the 18th.
Is there anyone in this area with a parking space available? Minimum we need a power plug (It is getting COLD at night!).

This is the post we put up on Couchsurfing:
My wife and I need to wash our van and dry it out before crossing the Border into the US. We also need to do laundry and have showers. Not all of our supplies can cross the Border.....
Our minimum requirement is power. We need to run a power cord out to our van to run a heater (for drying). As we do not have ready access to the internet, you may call us too. (778 967 2274).
We look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers!
Team WorldTour

If ANYONE is in a position to help us out, please let us know!
