The transmission can last a while, if you behave with it, unless its about to fail anyway. Look at Joel's build, I think he has some youtube videos describing it, he will be a great resource and is incredibly helpful. |

Just remember that the radiator and intercooler must be mounted in the front to work properly. We tried several ways to mount the radiator in the rear of my buddy's car and the only way that even halfway worked looked like crap because we used a honda civic radiator flush mounted in a cut up decklid.
We also tried mounting it behind the rear seat with a large hole cut in the firewall, but could never get proper air flow, and even when we got it to kind of work in the back, we had to have a large fan running all the time, and couldn't drive it very hard.
So yeah, radiator goes in front _________________ "A poor workman always blames his parts... Ya gotta have skillz to hang junk." -johnnypan |

Stripped most of the motor today and put on my KEP Adapptor ,, wouldnt sit flush so i thought it was bent .. it ended up being that the turbo bracket was in the way so i trimmed it down a bit and bam it went on just a note for people when they go tru the swap with turbo motors... its been raining so have to wait for Saturday forecast seems clear then |

howdy guys back for some more progress pictures
plate is finally on
some hard negotiation that lasted about 30 minutes of me thrusting and wiggling the motor and BAM!!!
and a new starter
Sorry for the sideways pictures .. LOL Just till your head to the side for a better view of it .. had to cut the back firewall out as you can see so i plan on making a sweet litte access port to the motor/ clutch cable if ever need it .. more to come |

Coming along well Ronald, what are you doing about the intercooler?
Going to duct air through it or swap to a w2air chargecooler.
that is the best solution as its very hard to duct enough air to an a2a one _________________ Quick little bug, you got a Porsche motor in that?

im a little tight on money at the moment i had an idea for the intercooler
i was going to make a custom fan shroud and mount it on there then add a scoop to where the rear vents are below the window .. if i could find one locally for cheap it be great but like parts for subies are hard to come by here in miami unless you go to the dealership and then they charge you an arm and a leg.. |
