| Looking for a good sized tire front and rear for my '70 that will fit with 2/12" raised spindles and no body lift. The 7.00x15 that is sold everywhere looks good but may be a bit too tall. Any suggestions? |

If youve got a baja kit on the 7x15 will work good with the raised spindles.
I run them up font and theyre great, a little hard on the front end for hard off roading but i dont do much anymore, they compliment a big rear tire good. If its a street baja just stick with something close to stock with some good tread like a truck tire. |

| Thanks. It is a full fendered body with no baja kit. I think the 7.00 will slam the back side of the headlight buckets. Anyone running a full fendered bajas? |

| full fendered like a class 11 racer? those guys are running 7.00x 15 but they are cut and turned, and turned up in the rear. they do rub the light buckets, but the need the height. as for your car try a 235/75/15 all terrain type tire. theyre a little shorter, and a little wider, but will probably look nice.if youre out romping around and getting air born, you front apron is gonna suffer. you might as well do a baja kit. you'll be able to go more places, because the room allows bigger tires (more ground clearance), and your approach and departure angles can be much greater, since the apron and exhaust arent hanging down. either way, good luck, and happy wheeling. |
