I purchased one of these from Everett, and neither of us can figure out how it attaches to the seat.

It *seems* as if there might be a metal clip missing from inside the tab, or perhaps some sort of small set screw.

Any tips?

Thanks!

Seat slider knob, just to clarify. Small and square.

The first ones 61-65 had no clip, just slip on. The metal, chrome ones had a clip 66-69? then the later blak ones had?? I going from memory here. Ive alway eithor glued or been able to stick them back on. But Ive only mostly messed with early plastic. I dont think the mid plastic chrome ones had a clip.? What kind do you have?
