Amazing collection of Kunze ... Bob!!!!!
Here is mine for the forum. It is base on my own low millage 62 beetle and was made in the early 90.

While I can not tell you what the Kunze models would normally be valued at, I can can tell you that the one you linked to was part of the Bruce Weiner Micro Car Museum auction sale.
Bruce Weiner (owner of the Double Bubble bubble gum factory) had amassed a huge collection of only the finest examples of all the various micro cars ever produced.
When the entire museum collection recently went up for sale, the auction drew all of the "heavy hitters" in the micro car collecting world.
As would be expected in such a situation, this made all of the final sale prices reach double or triple the previously record high sales prices.
Based on that fact, I would think the average value of a Kunze model would be much less than the example that you have linked to.
... but as I started out my answer with, I really don't know. |
