Sorry Stef, The owner did not want it. I have one but had to say I whould not put it on the net. The car is in resto now. The man want to find out how the second generator is mounted abve the original one. That is why there is a bump in the engine cover. As for the pict not alowed, the picts of 100 other cars are also not alowed.... ( +30 split window, +30 oval's, handfull of later beetles, a dozen kubels, half a dozen schwimmwagens, 6 police cars, some coachbuilts, 9 ultima's in plastic wrapped, +25 porsches 356 .... I think I forgot some ) |
Then we will wait untill the car is ready. _________________ http://mills.skynetblogs.be/ |

LOL No, their 50th aniversary was in 1937 this was 2 years later. Don't think Albert Heijn wants to be associated with the other AH . |

Here's another pic of the cornerstone vert. Check out the way the folded top sits over the area where the rear qtr window comes up. I bet you couldn't roll up the rear qtr wind when the top was down.

I am guessing they were not rocking some serious speakers in the passenger footwell but what on Earth is that cut out? |

Some kind of measuring or tes tequipment along with the extra round gauges under the dash?
Or if that is a Volksempfanger on the right side dash, maybe it is a speaker.

Another angle of the interior of car 3 of the "cornerstone" series. It does look like some kind of speaker. Maybe it's some kind of PA speaker? An open car would be best suited for propaganda announcements...

This proves there were no rear side windows. They must have been removable clip on windows of some type. _________________ 1957 Karmann Kabriolet "Franky"
