the engyne still has the methane pump system, you can see it in the left side of the engine bay.
Unfortunatly it hasn't got the original block, but a '58 (I believe)
sed |
58 block?
I see a wire clip distributor
Big nut generator
D regulator?
Strap air cleaner?
Oval hole coil bracket.
That's a lot of early bits on it for a late engine.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
What's the engine number on it? _________________ shiny paint doesnt make it worth any more |

60 shroud, late fuel pump and a late oil filler minus cap. plus the second digit of the engine number is a 2 not a 0 and there is no space for the - in the 20-####
nice car, looking forward to seeing what happens. |

the owner of the bus dedided to sell it. just for information he is a bus enthusiast from over 25 years (maybe more), i write this because often people that put an ad and does not have a previous feedback is not considered reliable but this is not the case. all friend of him that replied to this post know him well and know his passion.

I know MArco, the seller. A real enthusiast. Pretty sad to this bus gone from his hands... Hope it ends at a good home... _________________ 1967 Split SO-42 Dormobile |

It would be nice to see any possible camper stuff documented, I haven't seen anything in this thread to identify it as a campingbox.
As far as I know Westfalia did not chop out the bulkhead. |
