Bill: due the size of the event (250+) vehicles, Bug Bash is held on the huge carnival lawn area which has room for 350-400 cars. The front park area gets pretty crowded with 100+ buses and trucks...
Marc: can't wait to see you and the rest of the Nor-Cal DBK ! Club participation award will be hotly contested this year
Sponsors confirmed so far: Lavere's (open house the day before Bug Bash), Honest Engine Midtown, Kombi Haus, Wolfsburg West, Vintage Parts Inc. Looks like another epic raffle in the making. _________________ David Heard

Shaping up to be another epic raffle at Bug Bash. Sponsors/donors on board so far are: Lavere's VW Restoration, Honest Engine Midtown, Wolfsburg West, Kombi Haus, Greg's VW Service and Vintage Parts Inc.
Phone has been ringing off the hook and tons of e-mail inquiries about the event. Looking like this will be biggest one yet !
Pre-registration discount will be available on the webite at www.californiabugbash.com in the next day or so. Pre-reg deal includes one adult admission, dash plaque and t-shirt for only $20. _________________ David Heard

I'm bringing my bus and 3 old Schwinns, love the idea of v-dubs and bikes together, and I think others will too! Can I park near the midway so I can be involved in both? |

Vintage Warehouse is onboard as a sponsor once again! Hope to see Greg's split sunroof...
Handed out over 1000 fliers over memorial day weekend in Sacramento, and got lots of positive feedback about the event. Seems like most Nor-Cal folks are opting to stay local and come to Bug Bash _________________ David Heard

Only 3 weeks until Bug Bash 2014!
I've had quite a few phone calls and e-mails from all over the western states regarding in this year's event. There are more folks pre-registered than this time last year, and lots of interest in the swap meet. It also looks like the Lavere's open house on Saturday in Concord will have a full house. As you'd expect, there is tons of interest in the bicycle show and swap - I can't think of a better combination than old Volkswagens and old bicycles! _________________ David Heard

Just putting finishing touches on the bus, bikes are loaded up already. Stoked.
How many cars do they usually see at the Laveres BBQ? |

Last time there was a great hot dog cart and a sandwich stand. I know the hot dog guy will be there and I saw something on IG about Mexican food too. |
