Hi Folks

I am looking at some body parts for my ‘58 Ghia coupe and am curious about price and fitment. At the CIP website they list the QUARTER PANEL SECTION - IN FRONT OF REAR WHEEL OPENING - RIGHT SIDE – is appropriate for GHIA 60-74 whereas KGPR says their part fits a 56- 74. In the images provided the parts seem identical. There’s a considerable difference in price (89.95 for CIP and 49.50 for KGPR). Is there more than one manufacturer of these sections?

Has anyone had experience getting these parts and whether they fit and why there’s such a price difference?

Thanks.

Dave

Not sure if they are 2 different makers but the cip panel is a tabco part which you can order direct from manufacture for 43.75

If you order from them just call them. That is the fastest way. They haven't caught up with the Internet yet.

I haven't used those panels from those two companies...
I have bought bad quality ones before and thrown them out!
Most times you'll need to massage them a bit but these were really bad.
I ended up buying another set from karmannghia.de. They were great quality and nearly perfect.

I've seen the name "tabco" on many of the parts ordered from most of the suppliers we often talk about here. I usual see it if the part is still in the plastic bag that it comes from Tabco.
