In restoring my 68 ghia I decided to remove the padded dash. Does anyone know where I can get a speaker grill/cover. I'm not going to have a speaker in the dash.

Thanks Nicholas. I've emailed both to see if this will work for a 68.

Thanks

It'll fit ...but it wont look exactly correct. 68 dash is open in front (like 67) so there isnt a 360 degree indent for that piece to fit. heres a pic to help make sense.

Bottom line...does it look like it doesn't go there?

I used an alum cover, but it looks the same size/shape. This is my 67 dash (top is identical to 1968 ), I put a piece of rubber under to try to clean up the look. Its temporary as I'm not really happy with it.

I found rosewood laminate to trim the early style speaker grill. I fabbed the trim to fit the opening so it looks proper.

Just made up some new Ghia Speaker Grills out of Aluminum and Stainless Steel. 1/8 or 1/16 thickness. These look great on any naked dashes with no pads.
