this split has the holes for the fried eggs turn signals, and later engine bay vent.

Plus a pgsg bus was never on a fried egg bus.. Fried eggs started in 62. Possibly late 61.

Looks like a pgsg to me. People hacked in fried eggs all the time back in the day.

How can you say that's a late engine vent? It's obviously smashed flat.

Bullet bus 2.0??

Pgsg? Fried egg signals? Clearly I don't know enough bus terminology!

This bus is located just down a ravine below "Glass Mountain" which was Boulder City's city dump until sometime around the late 50s or early 60s when it was moved to it's current location. There are billions of glass bottles, mostly smashed, but many still intact, and many other objects that obviously haven't decomposed. This was the dump used by the townspeople, which were originally workers building Hoover Dam, so there are tons of good finds even today! I have many license plates from 1933 and 1934 that I've plucked from here, as well as various parts and memorabilia, like heads from flathead engines, etc...this area is mostly ravines and is full of abandoned cars of all eras. It is hard to describe how to get there, but there is a road you can park on and it's a very short hike, probably about 10 minutes. I'd be happy to give a free tour to anyone in the area Smile

Even if most of the metal is un useable (I'm guessing that it is), it would be worth cutting the Wolfsburg torsion housing out at least.

This bus was complete. But the local vegas gorillas pilfered it. They took every good piece from it. I know who has several of the pieces.

I also said it should be a 2nd bullet bus. Ive never been to it, but heard it wouldnt be easy to get out of where it is.

It's in a bad way but there's a lot that can be done with a mig welder and a copper disc.
You'd go through a lot of wire but it could be sorted.

I hope they weigh it before and after.
