So, I know I'm not on top of your priorities list, but when can I expect you return the rotisserie?

Drew:
It is not this. Our guys while using the rotisserie had the wheels break off their weld. We welded new wheels on. Then while I was gone they changed it again. Not knowing it was not my rack to change. I was going to have them put it back the way it was with better casting I bought for it. w

Me:
That still doesn't answer the question, its been months since you took it, it's been almost 2 months since you asked me for an address to deliver, zero communication from your end, I was cool about you taking it, now my brother is on my ass about it! Definitely leaving a bad taste in my mouth and forces me to change the way I trust people!

Drew:
I could not bring what was not right.

I will get it fixed and delivered next week.

Me:
Thank you for not bringing it back broken in pieces, but is your lack of interest and communication what has me puzzled here, you have not communicated with me until I message you, then you say you going to do do something and you don't until I send you the next message!

Drew:
Gabriel, Apologize. Life is not unfolding easy at the moment. This rotisserie and the fact they fucked it up leaves me with my hands tied until fixed. No good news until it goes back to where it was and better. I will not borrow anymore. I will build it myself next time. Rarely do we borrow any tools. Lesson learned here too.

Ok, I have been patiently waiting for you to do the right thing and take care of this but I see you have other priorities, either deliver the rotisserie the way it was with a reasonable fee for the time you kept it by next week or paypal me $500.00 to: [email protected] so, I could have have another one built, we been ready to work on a car but can't because we are waiting for you! WTF dude? fucking take care of this now!

April 20th

Drew:

I bought steel last week. Round tubing and flat thick gauge metal. What was used before was not thick enough. The wheels did not roll well and broke the weld bead. Then our fabricator did a modification taking the rotisserie another direction. It will be repaired better the when we received it and returned. Apologize for the delay. I am not the fabricator at this point. He knows to get it done

I am on it with him next week.

I just came back from a road trip, hoping this thing was concluded, I asked my brother if Drew had delivered the rotisserie, not surprisingly NO!

Drew: Obed brought the pipe cutter to the body shop. He was to send me shots of the job while doing and the finished product. Then I will contact to bring it up. It's Sunday. I will check with him in the morning. I hope it's done. I saw him last on Thursday morning. I thought he was finishing sooner. He's got everything he needs to complete.

I sent Drew a $1000 deposit with the intention of purchasing a 1995 Winnebago Eurovan. Since this was a long distance transaction I had the van checked out by Mesa West. Norman of Mesa West found several issues which Drew did not disclose. I chose not to continue the purchase.
Now drew is refusing to return my deposit. He is claiming fictitious charges of time spent!?!
This man is dishonest. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to how to get my deposit back.

I just got off the phone with Drew. It turned out to be a shouting match as he was talking over me refusing to listen to why he should return my deposit. He claims he sold me the vehicle. How can he have sold me a vehicle when I never took delivery. But he took my deposit and doesn't want to return it.
Furthermore, he still has the 95 Eurovan. He has the asset. I just saw it listed in the classifieds and I told him.
This is fraud to the nth degree.
So I just checked the ads again and Drew has removed all his ads including the 95 Eurovan. Are you covering your tracks?

Well, it has come to this, at OCTO Drew show up dropped off an "unusable" rotisserie, incomplete and with new tubes to be welded and just said have your brother (Jehu) call me.

2 weeks later (VW Classic) Drew stopped by and proceeded to tell me a long story of why and whom, destroyed Jehu's rotisserie and they lie to him and he's pissed, blah blah blah, at the end of the day I told him, It is your responsibility as you are the one that got the rotisserie from us!

I told him bottom line just pay my brother $500.00 for the piece you broke and the aggravation of waiting a whole freaking year for resolution, now he says I'm slandering his good name! For the love of God!

Well, well, well... Listen up fellow reputable samba members, I too am the victim of this deceiver. A '61 samba advertised by Colome as "original", "have only seen one or two in this original condition". All the pictures he sent me were taken by previous well known and respected owner, however Colome only used the pictures that show a clean, solid bus. Not the pictures of the bondo filler rear corners, battery tray, dog legs, cargo doors,etc. etc. etc. I have all his statements and claims about this bus, "original, date coded rims and trim rings" ( they were not present, only in the pictures, markings on bus indicate they were removed) He touted this bus as rust free, only needing belly pans. I left $6000 extra with him to do the work. Never got anything back, or the trim rings, besides paying double the price for a bus in the rusty condition that this one was in. His now famous responses of "will update you by end of day" or "we are working on it"..."WE, WE, WE". He throws more crap out there than the farmers in Lancaster County.
